Maison Kieffer Jean-Charles and Gérald is located in Itterswiller and welcomes you every day in an atmosphere of exchange and conviviality within their flowery estate. Since 1737, vine culture has been passed down from father to son over 9 generations.
The family estate
Today, the House operates 10 hectares while respecting the plant and its biodiversity. Always listening to the vines and their needs, each action is considered in order to maintain the balance of the ecosystem: grassing between the rows, reduction in the number of passages to limit compaction and reduce our carbon footprint, no work from the soil to prevent erosion...
Although all 7 Alsatian grape varieties are grown there, Jean-Charles and Gérald cultivate the majority of their production around 3 grape varieties magnified by the terroir and the sunshine of the exceptional plots of the village: Riesling, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
In the cellar, the family always stays up to date with current developments in their sector and is interested in cutting-edge equipment in addition to ancestral know-how in order to best serve the quality and diversity of their wines.
Accommodation
The Kieffer family has created a place of welcome and exchange to help you discover its wines and crémants. You can also enjoy a stay in the hotel or one of the two cottages with picturesque charm.
Perched above the Itterswiller vineyard, our “Panoramic” gîte overlooks the Alsace plain and offers you a remarkable view of the Black Forest and the Vosges. Cozy, warm and refined, the wooded decoration immediately makes us feel at home. On the panoramic terrace, you can enjoy moments of relaxation in the hot tub. We are at your disposal to enhance your stay with a tasting of our wines.
