The vineyard
Based in Itterswiller, Maison Kieffer is a family estate passed down since 1737.
Today, Jean-Charles and Gérald continue this work with a simple and attentive approach, focused on the balance of the vine and the quality of the wines.
The estate and our approach
The estate covers around ten hectares, cultivated with constant attention to soil balance and vine health.
We favour straightforward and consistent practices — natural cover between the rows, limited tractor work, no soil tillage — in order to preserve the vineyard over time.
While all seven Alsace grape varieties are grown, our work focuses mainly on Riesling, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, which find a particularly accurate expression here.
In the cellar, our aim is to guide the fruit with precision and restraint, combining experience with the right tools to produce wines that are balanced, clear and enjoyable to drink.

Stay at the estate
The estate also offers accommodation, with a hotel and two guest houses in the heart of the village.
A quiet and simple setting to discover our wines on site and enjoy the surroundings.
