Tradition
We seek in these wines the proper reflection of its grape variety, the brilliance of the fruit with precision and balance. They should preferably be consumed in their youth in order to capture the crispness of their aromas.
Latitude 48
is composed of Pink Sandstone and benefits from a full southern exposure, naturally making it an early-ripening terroir. It is within these exceptional plots that we select the wines whose salinity and particular fruitiness we want to share linked to the sunny terroir. To be enjoyed in their tangy youth or to be kept for a few years to enhance their typical character.
The Bubbles
Hand-harvested and made from 100% Pinot Noir, our Crémants showcase character, fullness on the palate, and finesse of bubbles. Our sparkling wine, La Dorée, is the result of a blend of fruity grape varieties, all vinified using the traditional method.
Barrel
Barrel aging is an exception in the range of Alsace wines, initiated by Jean-Charles in the 1980s after his training in Burgundy. These wines mature for 12 to 18 months in oak barrels, giving a new dimension to Alsace Pinots.
